VR TOWER DEFENCE

In the second semester of my second year at University we were given a group assignment which was to create a game of our choice, at this point in the course i was more comfortable with my skills in unity and programming in general so i was feeling confident about what i could create. Myself, my brother and a classmate decided to experiment with implementing a VR Headset within Unity.

The Game

In this game you will find yourself facing 2 levels, each opponent is attempting to defeat you at a board game, their goal is too successful use their minions to take down your castle, your goal is to place towers in order to stop them! Collect Gold from defeated enemies and purchase more towers to defeat your terrible opponents and save your castle!

My Role

As this was a group project we tried to split up the workload evenly, my main responsibilities were: Implement the Oculus controls / SDK, create the Cannon & Shotgun Tower, partly created the tower shop, create the Tower placing mechanic, helped with pressable buttons, creating the 2nd Level along with its enemies, waves and board.
